Post Conviction Relief

Post Conviction Relief is when someone is in prison after pleading guilty, or a jury found the person guilty, and the person convicted believes that his attorney who defended him was ineffective.

The person can file an Application for Post Conviction Relief and Petition the court to have the sentence vacated.

Qualifications and Trial Experience

My trial experience has been approved under Rule 403 by the South Carolina Supreme Court. The South Carolina Supreme Court has also certified me as being qualified to be the lead counsel in death penalty trials.

I have handled hundreds of felony cases and over 100 post conviction relief cases.  In the past few years I was the attorney on four death penalty trials.
